Flagship and very special wine from this highly renowned vineyard.  The wine has a medium to deep ruby color with a little browning hints at the rim. The aromas are Bordeaux-like with notes of cedar, tobacco-leaf, redcurrant & a little blackcurrant overlaid by hints of cinnamon & nutmeg. On the palate the fruit initially has a red-fruit nature. Drying tannins provide a lean structure that is supported by good acidity. Cassis & blackcurrant notes come through on the long finish.
