It is a deeply coloured, tannic, and medium-to high-acid red grape variety meaning ‘black and crunchy’. This magnificent example exhibits aromas of wild red cherries. 12 months in medium toasted 225lt French oak barrels gives it a full-bodied and powerful flavour with savoury characteristics.
