This red wine, a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, is produced by the Garibaldi co-operative under their top of the range ‘VG Reserva’ brand in the southerly Serra Gaúcha hills. Lightly filtered, it was aged for approx. 10 months in a combination of medium toast French and American barriques.

Deep red in colour; ripe blackberry and plum fruit aromas are complimented by toasty coffee notes, spice and a touch of menthol. A well structured medium-full bodied wine, with soft tannins and well balanced acidity, and some potential for further ageing.
