Dornier's single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon is a great example of this noble variety, from its preferred region in Cape – the slopes of the Helderberg. After fermentation the wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 35% of which was new.

Expect concentrated dark fruit of blackcurrant and cassis to jump out of the glass alongside cigar box, pencil shavings and vanilla from clever use of oak. The tannins are elegant and fine-grained, resulting in a delicious well-balanced drop.
